House of Numbers, a new documentary film, will premier April 19th at the Nashville Film Festival.

House of Numbers

According to the plot summary at imdb.com:
In ‘House of Numbers,’ an AIDS film like no other, the HIV/AIDS story is being rewritten. This is the first film to present the uncensored POVs of virtually all the major players; in their own settings, in their own words. It rocks the foundation upon which all conventional wisdom regarding HIV/AIDS is based. ‘House of Numbers’ could well be the opening volley in a battle to bring sanity and clarity to an epidemic gone awry.

There is also a brief review at Red Dirt Report.

  1.

It’s great that there are more and more videos/documentaries and the like, which rather delicately let us know that there’s something wrong with the whole HIV/AIDS paradigm.

But we’re looking for outside sources when we should be looking inside. We’re still asking for outside validation and approval, whether it’s for our sexuality or our right to know the truth. It’s still totally fucked up.

We’ve ALWAYS had the ability to “go back home” (a slight Wizard of Oz reference, if you will). WE JUST HAVE TO WANT TO DO SO.

The power is ours. When we give it away to the medical establishment and authorities, is it any wonder that they do the horrible things they do with it?
