The Canadian Broadcasting Center (CBC) is doing what the mainstream media does so well for AIDS apologists: repeating inaccurate headlines without reading or thinking: Premature Aging of the Brain Seen in HIV Patients That is simply not what this study reports, and I blogged about it just a few days ago here. It is pretty […more]
In 2007 and 2008 the boycott-happy Christian rightist organization American Family Association was touting its alleged success at beating down Ford Motor Company with a boycott because of that company’s gay-friendly marketing at Pride events. Never mind that American car manufacturers across the board were suffering from weak sales and bloated inventories of gas hogs […more]
Peter loves all things Pharmaceutical and that is no surprise, considering he apparently lives a pretty good life taking his cut from Pharma profits. As he himself admits, he founded aidsmed.com so he could get off of his low paying disability income. The extent of his sell out is apparent to anyone looking at all the drug ads plastered above his mug on his blog.
Still, his latest post is pretty gauche, even for him. What to do when research doesn’t provide the desired results? Conduct another study and change the parameters, of course. According to the AIDS mantra, penetrative sex without latex is the highest risk behavior for transmission of the HI virus. Yet, a recent study from the University of Florida–a state with a greater than usual interest […more]
Please pardon me while I toot my own horn for just a minute because I’m pretty excited about how quickly a few tweaks have improved the visibility of my blog. Online blogging platforms, such as WordPress and Blogger, and social networking sites like facebook have made blogging quite the simple task for many people. Unless […more]
Some folks who have read my story about quitting AIDS drugs and nearly two dozen other prescription drugs seem to think I attribute my improved health to that choice alone. It isn’t that simple. There is no doubt in my mind that taking so many prescription drugs, even under the care of physicians, was […more]
My artist brother Gordon helped me update my logo and avatar so it has a much more pleasing, stylized look for use online. The original tattoo can be seen in a previous post about how this particular icon, which I call “somos uno“, came into being. As much as I love the tattoo on my […more]
